World-Talks wants to give human rights defenders a name, a voice and a face.

The World-Talks team conducts online video interviews with human rights defenders from all over the world. These interviews are recorded, edited and then posted online. The World-Talks channel will be available to anyone with internet access, and will be a free and open source for journalists, teachers, researchers and others with a special interest in human rights.

The video interviews will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence.

World-Talks is an initiative of Amsterdam-based research and strategy bureau Tertium. The project is set up in close collaboration with the Dutch United Nations Student Association (SIB Amsterdam) and Pakhuis de Zwijger. Amnesty International in the Netherlands provides World-Talks with advice about human rights defenders. Zuis Film is responsible for the edits of the interviews.
